Google Financial Data Visualized

Posted in AdSense, Adwords, Blogroll, Financial Results, Google, Googleness, Quarterly Revenues by Hakim Bennis on 2006-07-25

Google just released their Q2 ‘06 financial results, but most of us get lost in numbers, plus there isn’t really a way to quickly see where these guys are heading. With the help of Create A Graph I compiled these smooth nice looking graphs representing Google’s financial data over the last 3.5 years. This should give some perspective and is much more exiting, clear, and graphic than the flat (and boring) table numbers. Here is an HTML version of the spreadsheet I used in case you wanted to play with it.

I tried to follow the Create a Graph link you put up, which you said you used to create the graphs in this post.

I can’t find any import function? I can’t imagine you plugged the data in manually?

    You won’t find any!

Acutally I did input all those numbers manually, It took me about 4 hours to create those visuals. I don’t like Excel graphs, I think it’s worthed the effort to come up with such pretty graphs…

This fancy font used within charts is barely readable, please change it.

Great representation of the info, but it is a shame I’m not going to be able to look at all of them… I’m getting a headache trying to read that font! It’s really bad!

    Ken you’re right!

I made the mistake of choosing that font!

I will change it to s/t more readeable and zip all the graphs and put them for download.

The zip should be up in an hour or so =)
